Dungeon Matchy
Made for the Beginners Summer Jam 2024 in a little under 3 days. The jam lasted a full week, but my time was limited for it. This is a simple match 3 puzzle game, but matching each type of block has a different effect on the RPG party above the grid. Figured your actions in a grid based puzzle game affecting a secondary game outside of it fit the theme of "Outside the Boundaries." This is my first game, so it's super simple, but I hope it's at least a little fun!

Music is awesome
97 points while I was trying to lose, when did I get all these points?
You get points when matching yellow blocks and also when defeating enemies
very addictive! However the UI seems a bit messed up, as the tutorial covers up some of the screen and i think some of the grid is hidden.
I've tested the game on 4 different monitor sizes and nothing is covered up on any of them, so I'm afraid I do not know the problem or how to fix it u-u sorry for that!

Have you considered making the sprites for the cubes more interesting? (e.g. making the blue square a wizard hat sprite)
I did actually plan to do this, but did not have the free time to refine the game any further
